Born by the sea, their earliest memories are of dancing around the house to the music constantly playing on the radio. These songs left a lasting impression and sparked a deep love of music from a young age.

At just eight years old, they received their first guitar and began teaching themselves to play. Over the years, a growing curiosity led to studying both the history and theory of music—key elements that helped shape and refine their musical abilities.

Influenced by a wide variety of genres heard over the radio, they developed a particular affinity for country music and classics from the 60s and 70s. Artists such as Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, and The Eagles became early inspirations. Over time, their greatest admiration grew for storytelling singer-songwriters like Tom Waits and Steve Earle—musicians who create songs with depth and narrative.
