Join us for a fantastic evening of music with The Rob Lear Band with support from Amy Rose. Bar & Kitchen open from 6PM - show starts at 8:30PM

Nominated for the Welsh Music Award  and with RnR Magazine describing Rob Lear as one of this countries finest songwriters, the Rob Lear Band blends elements of beautiful vocal harmonies and a wide range of talented instrumentalists, which include,  Accordion, Mandolin, Violin and Djembe to songs that draw on memories, experiences and coming-of-age tales of growing up in a small mining village tucked away in the Welsh valleys, Rob’s music blends Folk, Americana, Country and a touch of rockabilly.  Performing songs from their acclaimed new album, Strange Days,  Rob’s third album, mixed and co-produced by Richard Thomson's Grammy nominated producer Simon Tassano,  also featuring award winning blues guitarist James Oliver, as well as Van Morrisons ‘go to’ bass player , Pete Hurley. Rob’s music has been described as ‘Elegance with acoustic aplomb’ , by Country Magazine, and ‘He’s the best he’s been…you keep it going my boy !” by Wales’s own Frank Hennessy , BBC Radio Wales.  From his base in the Welsh valleys, Rob’s first solo recording was the E.P  ‘A Million Stars’ which resulted in the title track becoming a BBC Single of the Week, and then, a second single ‘Little Acorns’, produced by the Manic Street Preachers’ celebrated producer Greg Haver also gained Single of the Week status.  With a song back catalogue that includes songs critically akin to Roddy Doyle, Terry Reid and Tom Petty as a dedicated song-smith Rob has also been sought after to write for X-Factor finalists and signed artists with genres from EDM through to EMO and also including film score credits.  http://roblearmusic.com https://www.facebook.com/roblearmusic/
